Andrew Stephens (Andy) Lanier, 89, of Floyd, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 17, 2010, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. He was surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Lanier was born in Greensboro, N.C., the third son of the Rev. Raymond R. and Myrtle Stephens Lanier.
