Thornhill Jr., Walter Alphonso

Walter Alphonso Thornhill, Jr., 61, of Pearisburg, departed this life peacefully Friday morning, September 17, 2010. Born in Giles County on November 8, 1948, he was a son of the late Walter A. and Elizabeth Summers Thornhill. He had been employed for over twenty-five years with Chemical Lime Company at Kimballton and was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Crystal Campbell Thornhill of Beckley, W.Va. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke.
