Frank Alvin Proffit, of Washington, D.C., was born on January 1, 1933, and was the youngest of 13 children. He went to be with our Lord on March 6, 2011, at 6:10 a.m. Mr. Proffit was staying at the Thomas House Rehabilitation Center in Washington, D.C. while battling cancer.

Richard C. Owens, 90, of Sterling Heights, Mich., formerly of Dublin, Va., passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011. A family memorial will be held in the future.
