Teresa Cadd Williams, 53, of Shawsville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 5, 2011.She was born September 14, 1957, in Alleghany County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert (Larry) Whitmore in 1994. Teresa graduated from Alleghany County High School and Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. She was a member of White Memorial United Methodist Church where she was very active and ministered alongside her husband. She loved crafting, decorating, and gardening. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Herb Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Zack Denton; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Heather Whitmore; parents, Geraldine and Elwood Cadd; sisters, Sandra Clemmons and Donna Craft; brothers and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Teresa Fund at White Memorial United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 8, 2011, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at White Memorial United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Steve Hundley.
