Rigney, Karen Marshall

Karen Marshall Rigney, age 64 of Draper passed away peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2015 at her home. Born November 18, 1950 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late Bennett H. Marshall & Eunice S. Marshall. Karen was employed by Renfro Corporation for 16 years and most recently, Securitas Security at Volvo for 10 years.

She is survived by her

Son & Daughter-in-law Scott & Windy Rigney – Pulaski
Granddaughter Abrigale Rigney
Brother Gary & Lanita Marshall – Radford
Sisters-in-law & husbands Sue & James Smith – Draper Donna & Dennis Horton – Hillsville Pat & Charles Monroe – Blacksburg
Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law Bill & Linda Rigney – Draper
Special Friends Missy Arnold, Bea Anderson, Emory Arnold, Mary Edmonds, Richard McPeak And All her friends at Volvo for 10 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Monday at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at the SW Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM – Sunday evening at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Karen’s name to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
