David Conrad Ziegler, 42, of Pulaski, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, in the Wake Forest Medical Center, Winston Salem, N.C. Born January 29, 1970 in Baltimore Md., he was the son of Robert Brandt Ziegler and Carol Pfister Ziegler.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during Desert Storm. He was a highly decorated combat veteran. David was a dedicated father and loving husband.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Denise Ziegler, Pulaski; children, David Conrad Ziegler Jr., Brandt Lewis Ziegler, Megan Nicole Ziegler, all of the home; mothers and fathers-in-law, Carol and Jack Grigonis, Wayne and Phyllis Ridgeway; aunt and uncle, Margie and Michael Pfister; aunt, Joann McCully; brother-in-law, Keith Ridgeway; sister-in-law, Kimberly Marz; nieces, Ashley Amberman and Braelynn Coles; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with Elder Carolyn M. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, with the Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184 conducting military honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski, VA. 24301.
