Zola Mae Johnson Yuhasz Zaborsky, age 91, of Dublin, VA, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Oak Haven Assisted Living Facility in Floyd, VA.

Born on December 1, 1921 in Cleveland, VA, she was a daughter of the late Rev. John Grant and Bertha Cordle Johnson. She had been a resident of Dublin, VA for 15 years and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a homemaker and had previously worked as a head start teacher. She was a member of the American Legion’s Women’s Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children; John L. Yuhasz; her sons, Rev. Roger Yuhasz and Jack Yuhasz; grandson, Reese Martin; four sisters and three brothers; and her second husband, Matthew Zaborsky.

Survivors include:

3 sons: Eddie Yuhasz of Dublin, VA
Bob Yuhasz of Dublin, VA
Bill Yuhasz of Mooresville, NC

10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care provided to Zola Mae by all of the staff of Carilion Clinic Hospice in Radford, VA and the staffs at Wheatland Hills Assisted Living Facility in Fairlawn, VA and Oak Haven Assisted Facility in Floyd, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Carl Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Carilion Clinic Hospice, 707 Randolph Street, Suite 251, Radford, VA 24141.
