Yopp, Sarah Elizabeth

Sarah Elizabeth (Betty) Helms Yopp, 76, of Willis, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Skyline Manor Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Taz and Sarah Rhee Helms. Survivors include her husband, Ralph M. Yopp, Christiansburg, formerly of Willis; daughters and son-in-law, Louise Y. Baker and George C. Anderson, Riner, Linda Sue Yopp, Frederick, Md.; brother and sisters-in-law, Dorris C. and Francis W. Helms, Willis; nieces and husbands, Melanie and Bill Matthews, Richmond, Tammy and Darren Worrell, Floyd, Mona Beth Helms, Floyd.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2006 at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Willis, with the Rev. Philip Bouknight officiating. Interment will follow at Willis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
