Yelton, Mary Belle

Mary Belle Yelton, 77, of Richmond and formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008.

Born January 18, 1931, in Austinville, Wythe County, Va., daughter of the late Jesse Bryan Yelton and Inez Mantz Yelton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Yelton Morton.

She is survived by two brothers, Clinton Yelton and his wife, Evelyn Slate Yelton, of Wythe County, and Claude Yelton and his wife, Oreta Webb Yelton, of Pulaski. She is also survived by two special nieces and husbands who provided loving care for Mary Belle, Claudia Yelton and Frank Pangelinan and Kimberley Yelton Price and Ted, of Richmond; and several other nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Laurel Presbyterian Church, Richmond.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the Laurel Presbyterian Church. Per Mary Belle’s wishes, she was cremated. Memorials to Laurel Presbyterian Church, 9675 Staples Mill Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23060. Blileys Funeral Home and Crematory on Staples Mill Road, Richmond, Va., is in charge of the arrangements.
