Yeatts, Iris Agnew

Iris Agnew Yeatts, 79, of Floyd, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.

Iris worked as a waitress at Blue Ridge Restaurant for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Yeatts, and two brothers, D. J. Agnew and Ward Agnew.

She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy A. Belcher, Barbara A. Nolen; brother and sister-in-law, James and Edna Agnew; sister-in-law, Ruby Agnew; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at Gardner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
