Yearout, Ted Pearson

Ted Pearson Yearout, 66, of Riner, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was a member of Word of Truth Baptist Church. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry with 37 years of service.

He was born May 14, 1941, to the late Foster and Peasie Yearout. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Y. Dickerson and two infant brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Beulah Radford Yearout, Riner, Va.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Joyce Yearout, Willis, Va., and Don and Cathy Yearout, Christiansburg, Va. He was blessed with six wonderful grandchildren, William, Kieffer, and Cameron Yearout, Willis, Va., and Molly, Ben and Abby Yearout, Christiansburg, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Gerry Yearout, of Blacksburg, Va.; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Y. and Charles Gathercole Jr., Newport, Va., and Mattie Y. Harris, Riner, Va.; motherin-law, Orpha Radford, Blue Ridge Nursing Center, Stuart, Va.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Church Cemetery.
