Yearout, Cathy Munsterman

Cathy Sue Munsterman Yearout, 49 of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 after a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Munsterman

Born in Evansville, Indiana she moved with her family to Lynchburg VA where she graduated from Brookville High School in 1987. She attended Virginia Tech and received a degree in Biology in 1991. She began her successful career in healthcare at Montgomery Hospital rising to become the lab director in the medical lab.

Survivors include her loving husband of 23 years, Don; and her wonderful children, Molly, Abigail and Ben; mother, Carole; brother, Chris and his wife Tracie Hutter-Munsterman. She also is survived by extended family including her aunt, Jane Stocker; cousins, Amy Brennan, David Stocker and Andy Stocker as well as her brother and sister in-law, Ron and Joyce Yearout; mother-in-law, Beulah Yearout.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Maberry Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Aaron Fitch officiating. A private Family graveside will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Beaver Creek Cemetery with Pastor Warren Bumgarner officiating.
