Norman Eugene Yates, (Stormin’ Norman) of Shawsville, Va., passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Robbie Yates (Carole); granddaughters, Kylie, Hollie and Muttely Yates; brother, Jeff Underwood (Belinda). A Celebration of Norman’s life will take place in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 with Pastor Jake Huffman, officiating.
