Yanhko, Patricia Hickman

Patricia Sharon Hickman Yanhko, 72, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her home in Radford. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and retired from the New Jersey Public School System. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ruth Hickman.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Michael Walter Yanhko; daughters and son-in-law, Melissa Lynn Yanhko of Radford, and Heather Noelle and Bryce Poe IV of Granby, Col.; grandchildren, Michael Alexander Obiso, Christopher Erik Obiso and Bryce Poe V; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Wilma Hickman of Haddon Heights, N.J., and Dennis and Linda Hickman of Cape May Courthouse, N.J.; and exchange students and their families.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Central United Methodist Church in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 5 p.m. with Rev. Don Smith, Rev. Don Shelor and Kathy Mansberry officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Central UM Church Building Fund, 803 Wadsworth St., Radford, VA 24141.
