Wygal, Nora Mae Hubble

Nora Mae Hubble Wygal, 88,, of Dublin, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009. She was born on July 2, 1920 in Smyth County, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland G. Wygal, two brothers, Robert and Don Hubble and a sister, Dorothy “Beep” Houck.

Surviving are two daughters, Betty Semones, Roanoke, Cheryl Quesinberry and husband Scott, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Gabe Quesinberry and wife Sara, Ashville, N.C., Steven Semones and wife Lynn, Christiansburg, Jason Semones and wife Lena, Roanoke, Jacob Quesinberry and fiance’ Sarah Dyer, Roanoke; seven great-grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler, Grayson, Brody, Wyatt, Cole and Slate.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Old Dublin Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from the Dublin United Methodist Church from 12 until 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dublin United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
