Wright, Rose Mary

Rose Mary “Teeny” Wright, age 56, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born February 27, 1963, in Giles County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Dean Long and Florence Oritha Rose.

She worked as a CNA and was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Annie Waldron, Pauline Austin, Rosie Brookman, and infant sister Ruth Long. Survivors include one son, Larry Wright and wife Delicia of Fredericksburg, VA; one daughter, Krystal Clark and husband Jeffrey of Narrows, VA; two brothers, Pete Long and wife Dorcus of Radford, VA, and David Long of Peterstown, WV; one sister, Cindy Snyder of Radford, VA; and five grandchildren, Triniti, Genesis, and Ever Wright, Savannah Massie, and Benjamin Massie, III.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Barry Harper officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
