Wright, Makayla Lynne

Makayla Lynne Wright, 18, of Rose Road, Newport, departed this life Thursday morning, November 12, 2015, at Pembroke from trauma sustained in a tragic fall from a cliff.

She was born on April 20, 1997 in Blacksburg, was a 2015 graduate of Giles High School and Tech Center, was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had been employed at Heritage Hall.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Wesley Allen and Vickie Lynn Lang Wright of Newport; her sister Mackenzie E. Wright of the home, her brothers Christopher Wright and Austin Wright of the home; her half-brother Matthew Wright of Narrows; her paternal grandmother Peggy Conley Wright of Clarksburg, WV; her maternal grandparents Ernie and Betty Lang of Pembroke.
