Wright, Dale Lou

Dale Lou Wright, 92, of Parrott, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014. Dale was born on November 27, 1921 in Pulaski County to the late Lee Andrew and Lee Nora Duncan Wright. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Harry Wright; his sisters, Stella Wright and Thelma Lawson; and his wife – the love of his life – of 48 years, Malita Alpha Creaig Wright.

Dale is now reunited with his “Skeet” and they are walking hand in hand once more along the golden streets of heaven. Those left to cherish his memory are his stepbrothers, Roy, Junior, Bobby, and Jerry Wright; his stepsisters, Betty Bentley and Linda Gibson; and a host of nephews; and nieces.

Dale worked for over forty years with Hanes and English Construction companies.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 22, 2014 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Sifford Cemetery in Parrott with the Reverend Joey Hollins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be pleased for donations to be sent to the Sifford Cemetery Fund (Carter Bank and Trust, 1900 East Main Street Radford, VA 24141).
