Wright, Curtis Franklin

Curtis Franklin Wright, 78, of Pulaski went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2008.

He is survived by his loving wife, Estelle Bratton Wright, of 60 years; brother Fred Wright; sisters Georgia McCourt, Francis Estep; son and spouse Tony “Jake” & Mary Ann Wright; daughters and spouses Connie & Lonnie Taylor, Janice & Donald Stoots, Vickie Houchins; six grandchildren, one of which is deceased; and five great grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his love for Jesus Ministry and appetite for God’s Word, service and dedication to his church and the abundant generosity that he showed everyone who was blessed to have known him.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at 11:00 AM from the Thornspring Cemetery with Pastor Steve Willis, Pastor Perry Slaughter and Pastor Leonard Johnson officiating. Visiting will be held Tuesday evening, at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to Valley Harvest Ministries Cambodia Project, P.O. Box 458, Dublin, VA 24084, The family will be meeting at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law Connie & Lorinie Taylor, 5066 Alum Spring Road, Pulaski, VA.
