kinkade-walk-with-jesusClarence Gilbert Wright, 77, of Pulaski, loving husband and father, gained his angel wings to meet our Heavely Father on Friday, April 4, 2014 in the home he built for his wife and two daughters. He was born in Pulaski on March 7, 1937 and was preceded in death by his parents, Vinnie Burton Wright and Dave Wright. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Wright of Orlando, Fla. and sisters, Willie Larue and Ruby Robertson, both of Pulaski. Clarence started Wright’s Home Improvements about 25 years ago where many special friends and acquaintances were made. To know Clarence was to not forget him as he had such an outgoing and positive disposition about him that he always brought laughs and left pleasant memories for those he met.

Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Bessie Cook Wright of Pulaski; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Allen Coalson of Pulaski, Debra and James Gravley of Dublin; grandsons Christopher and Michael Gravley; special furry companions, Baby, Molly and Harley; sisters, Wanda Foutz of Wytheville, Bonnie Gregory of Pulaski; brothers, David Wright of Christiansburg, Julius “Bud” Wright of Orlando, Fla.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Jerry Lee Martin officiating. Visiting will be held Sunday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the service hour. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
