Worrell, Tilden H.

Tilden Hurley Worrell, age 79 of Radford passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his home. Born September 21, 1932 in Dublin, he was the son of the Wirt Worrell and Eva Shockley Worrell. He was also preceded in death by numerous sisters and brothers. Mr. Worrell was retired from the City of Radford with over 40 years of service. He attended the Church of Prophecy, Dublin. Surviving- His wife of 61 years- Elizabeth Edwards Worrell-Radford Son & Daughter-in-law- Gary Tilden & Karen Worrell-Radford, Daughter & Son-in-law Debbie & Michael Yonce-TN Grandchildren- Alicia White Lawson, Jason White, Traci and Matthew Stanger and Hope Worrell Great Grandson- Kirklin Lawson. Step Great Grandchildren Dakotah Stanger & Justin Ratcliffe Brother- Roy Worrell-Draper Many nieces, nephews and close friends Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Jerry Phillips and Rev. Zane Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at Bower Funeral Home.
