Worrell, Shirley Tickle
Shirley Tickle Worrell, 75, of Pulaski, died on Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2012, in the Lewis Gale Hospital Pulaski. She was born in Pulaski, Va., on October 6, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Jacob Smith Tickle and Hazel Craig Tickle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Worrell; and by a sister, Betty Quesenberry. Mrs. Worrell was a member of the First Christian Church, Pulaski and was a retired employee of Jefferson Mills, having 25 years of service. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, James “Jim” and Jeannie Worrell, of Draper, Timothy Worrell, of Pulaski, Jeffrey and Marcie Worrell, of Pulaski, and John and Melinda Worrell, of Dublin; grandchildren, Tara Worrell, of Dublin, and Dylan Worrell, of Dublin; and brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Tickle, of Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from the First Christian Church with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be held on Tuesday evening, February 7, 2012, at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the First Christian Church, P.O.
