Lena Fay Turman Worrell, 84, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, in the Highland Ridge Rehab Center, Dublin, Va. She was born April 5, 1928, in Dugspur, daughter of the late Floyd and Alice Shelton Turman. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Elmon Worrell and a brother, Cabble Turman.

Fay was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was retired from Virginia Maid Hosiery Mills and loved working in her yard. “Ma” Worrell will be remembered by many friends.

Surviving are her daughters and spouses, Bonnie and Elbert Sawyers, Sharon and Carl Cline; grandchildren, Cheryl Sawyers Turman and Kevin, Erik Sawyers, Adam Cline and Emily Cline; great-grandchildren, Andy and Jacob Turman; brothers, Connie Turman andHarold Turman; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday morning from Stevens Fuenral Home Chapel, withthe REv. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. at the funeral home.
