Worrell, Irene Elizabeth Hughett

Irene Elizabeth Hughett Worrell, 76, of Pulaski, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at her residence. She was born on July 5, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Rachel Hardy Hughett and Albert Hughett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn (Peanut) Albert Worrell; a son, Danny Lee Worrell; and a brother, Richard Hughett. She is survived by two sons, Mike Worrell and his wife, Debbie, of Draper, and Donald Worrell and his wife, Faye, of Dublin; three daughters, Lucy Dalton, of Clinton, S.C., Susie Worrell, of Pulaski, and Libby Wilson, of Roanoke; three brothers, Alfred Hughett, of Pulaski, Daniel Hughett, of Barren Springs, and Sandy Hughett, of Max Meadows; and three sisters, Margaret (Tootie) Bentley, of Pulaski, Janie Spangler, of Michigan, and Phyllis Hanks, of Pulaski. Also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2 p.m. service time.
