WOOLWINE, Mary Magdeline

Mary Magdaline Woolwine, 71, of Blacksburg, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Margaret Proco; and her husband, Carliss Woolwine. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel M. and Kathy Creggar, Blacksburg; Tony and Lil Sweeney, Staffordsville; daughter and son-in-law, Jhonda Becorest and Sigsbee Miller, N.C.; grandchildren, Michael Creggar, Amanda Creggar and Zachary Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Joyce Proco, John C. and Jo Proco; Ronnie Proco; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Vernon Linkous all of Christiansburg; three nieces; three nephews; one great-nephew; two greatnieces; and her many friends at Warm Hearth.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Payne and the nursing staff of Montgomery Regional Hospital for their outstanding care.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, June 1, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Glennard Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Flowers will be appreciated but those wishing may consider memorial contributions to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress Street, Blacksburg, Va. 24060.
