Woodyard, Robert Lee

Robert Lee Woodyard, 41, of Newbern, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2008, at his home. He was born July 8, 1967, at Radford, Va. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Hash Woodyard.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Kermit Lee and Julie Woodyard, of Newbern; his maternal grandparents, John Wesley and Mary Combs Hash, of Dublin; one stepbrother, John Frame, of Radford; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at the Little Creek Apostic Tabernacle with the Rev. Tommy Ramsey officiating. Burial in the Hunters Cemetery, Alum Springs. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements by A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home.
