Woodyard, Neida Joyce

Neida Joyce Woodyard, 84, of Pearisburg, departed this life Tuesday evening, November 22, 2016 at her home in the loving care of her family. Born in Giles County on August 20, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Earl David and Mildred Jamison Pack.

She was retired from working at Virginia Tech and was a member of First Baptist Church in Narrows. Neida was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Billy Pack and Joseph Garland Pack and her sister Earldine Pack Little.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Dalford and Elizabeth Woodyard of Pearisburg; her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Greg Ratcliffe of Pearisburg; her sister Eula Biter of Blacksburg; her grandchildren and their spouses Michael and Valerie Perdue, Wesley and Danielle Woodyard, Natalie and Derek Stables Stephanie Woodyard and Jason Tickle, Nick Woodyard and Todd Turner; her great-grandchildren Tyler and Caitlin Perdue, Maddox, Pierce, and Taylor Woodyard, Riley and Jayce Stables, and Noah Minnick; her good friends Lynne Hazelwood and Amy Turner.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastors Paul Baker and Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services.
