Wood, Mary Beckner

Mary Beckner Wood, 85, of Copper Hill, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Wood Sr. and by a daughter, Brenda Jenks. She was survived by two daughters, Barbara and Monroe Willis, of Copper Hill, and Doris Reed, of Grayson, Ga.; one son, Robert Jr. and Sharon Wood, of Ronnoke; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with the Rev. Mauice Wright officiating, with interment in the Restvale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
