Wood, Gerald David
The Rev. Gerald David Wood, 72, of Dublin, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020. He was a minister with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church for 52 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Curtis Edmond Wood and Rev. Myrtle Jernigan Wood.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sandra Harris Wood; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Jill Wood of Charlottesville, and Jonathan and Miriam Wood of Killeen, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Jody Dunham of Richmond, and Beth and Michael Bonner of Wilmington, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, Carter, Cole, Kathleen, Timothy, Elias, Vivian, Benaiah, Mabry, Adalyn, Elinoa, Isaac and Moira; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Sue Wood of Richmond; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda Quick of Laurinburg, N.C., and Debby and Michael Mitchell of Dublin; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the Family Worship Center in Pulaski. Memorial services will begin at 12 Noon with Dr. C. R. Connor officiating.

So sad that my dear friend has left us but rejoicing that he is now with his Heavenly Father and no longer suffering. Praying for Sandy, children, grandchildren and siblings. We all lost a friend and loved one – Heaven gained an angel!!!

Brother David was a true Christian young man and student at Emmanuel College. He was a friend and admired by his fellow students. Was not aware that he had been ill. Prayers for his family.

Sending my love & deepest sympathy to Sandy, her children, grandchildren, & siblings in your loss. He was a good friend to many & such a great Christian influence to all. He has left a great legacy! We will all miss him, but he has gone to his reward & will spend eternity with his Heavenly Father, whom he dearly loved!
