Wojciechowski, Norma Jean

Norma Jean Wojciechowski, 85, of Christiansburg, passed away at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center on Friday, August 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Rice, Shirley Rice, Connie Stanley, and Robert Rice.

She is survived by her husband, George Wojciechowski of McRoberts, KY; daughter, Tanya Wojciechowski Akers and son-in-law, Wayne of Christiansburg, VA; brother-in-law, Rick Wojciechowski (Elene); grandchildren, Brian Mullins (Valerie) of Blacksburg,

Tyler Marcum (Amanda) of Christiansburg, Breana Akers (Wesley) of Christiansburg, Stephanie Boyd (Derrick) of Christiansburg, Stacy Millar (Shep) of Johnson City, TN, James Akers (Maegan) of Johnson City, TN, Shannon Akers of Radford; great-grandchildren, Brooke Mullins, Nicholas Mullins, Alexis Boyd, Natalie Boyd, Avery Millar, Eden Millar, Caleb Haley, Skylar Akers; and siblings, Fern Vanderpool of Corbin, KY, Carl Whitaker, Covington, KY, and Phyllis Whitaker Covington KY.

Norma was a devout Catholic. A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Norton, Va. The family will receive friends Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, Va.
