Witt, Bernice Changler

Bernice Witt, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA. Born February 12, 1935, in Lovingston, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Viar and Annie Pearl Chandler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. “Jim” Witt Jr.; and one grandson, Leslie Spencer.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Lester (Rick), Patti Amos, Greg Witt, and David Witt (Kelly); grandchildren, Sarah Spencer, Levi Neely, Paige Neely, and Baylee Witt; great-grandchildren, Gage Bowles, Blake Bowles, Beau Wikle, Haley Cayton, Aiden Tiller, and Ryder Neely; and great great grandchild, Zuri.
