Wise, Josephine Lotito

Josephine Lotito Wise, 87, of Wheatridge, Colo. and formerly of Pulaski, Va., died Friday, March 30, 2007 in the Lutheran Hospice at Collier Center, Wheatridge, Colo.

She was born in Tazewell County, Va. on May 3, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Maria Gargaro Lotito and Stephen Lotito. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Witten Wise, Sr. Mrs. Wise was a retired bookkeeper.

Surviving are daughter, Lisa Pease, Eagle, Colo.; son, Walter W. Wise, Jr., Fairfax, Va.; sister, Katherine Barrett, St. College, Pa.; brothers, Christopher Lotito and his Wife, Elizabeth, Pulaski, Va., Nick Lotito, Pocahontas, Va., Frank Lotito, Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Lauren Wise, Jennifer Hendricks, Alexis Guinn.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Shaw Regional Cancer Center, P.
