Wimmer, Shaun Cabot

Shaun Cabot Wimmer, 43 of Eggleston, VA departed this life suddenly October 21, 2022. Born in Montgomery County on June 22, 1979 he was a son of Donna Covill Wimmer and the late Donald Lee Wimmer.

Shaun spent his life in service as a member of the Eggleston Fire Department and in faith at the Eggleston United Methodist Church.

In addition to his father, Shaun is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Wimmer; and grandparents, Robert and Jane Wimmer and Robert and Pauline Covill.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his mother, Donna Wimmer; sister-in-law, Laura Ferguson (Dale); aunts and uncles, Claude and Carol Wimmer, Bob and Diane Burkett, Jerry and Diane Covill, and Carol Sutphin; a special aunt, Lynne Conley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Following the visitation there will be a time in which to reflect on a life well lived on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel.
