Wimmer, Carol Barnett

Carol Barnett Wimmer 76 of Shawsville, went to be with her Lord on June 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Shelburne Barnett, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Rachel and Lamer Wimmer.

Carol is survived by her mother, Mildred Barnett; husband, Edwin Wimmer; sons, Timothy Wimmer and Chris Wimmer (Lori); grandchildren, Maxwell Wimmer, Brice Wimmer, Blake Wimmer, Georgia Wimmer, Katie Harris; siblings, Joyce Woods (Clark), Judy Mount (Denny), Freddy Barnett (Serilla), Donna Sawyers (Howard), Shirley Trimble (Pete); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Carol retired from Hubbell Lighting after 39 years. She was a member of the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Commonwealth Senior Living and Intrepid Hospice for their care of Carol.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church. Funeral Services will begin at 4 p.m. at the Church with Pastor Wes Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
