Wilson, Virgie Sands

Virgie Louise Wilson, 89, of Pearisburg, VA passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Highland Ridge Rehab Center. She was born September 16, 1928 in Bland County, the daughter of the late Dewitt McKinley & Idell Patton Sands.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Henry Wilson, and two brothers, Louis Dewitt Sands and William Miller Sands.

Left to cherish her memory are several special nieces and an abundance of friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate with Rev. Doug Testerman officiating. Friends and family will have a time of visitation at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Southwest Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery.
