wilson_nathan_haleNathan Hale Wilson, 77, of Pulaski County, died Monday May 5, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was born May 10, 1936 in Pulaski, and was the son of the late Emaline and Joseph F. Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Smith Wilson; daughter Monica W. Shumate and her husband Robert of Roanoke, along with his pride and joy granddaughter Meghan; brother, Perry L. Wilson of Roanoke; sisters, Martha Ann Farmer of Richmond, and Alice Faye Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida. Nathan was never happier than when he was selling cars, making friends, and garnering life-long customers, which he did for 47 years. The first 34 years, he was the General Manager for Dick Price Ford, and continued his joy of being a car salesman in Pulaski County until recently. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Hall officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
