Wilson Jr., James Sidney

James Sidney Wilson Jr., of Radford, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Virginia Veterans Care Center. James was a paint contractor in the Radford area for many years. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, James S. and Lillian Wilson Sr. Surviving are two sisters, Neta Wilson Albright, of Radford, and Mae Wilson Legg, of Plains, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Joe McCoy officiating.
