Wilson, Johnny Gilmer

Johnny Gilmer (John Henry) Wilson, 62, of 5533 Alum Spring Road, Pulaski, died Friday evening, July 11, 2008, at his home. He was born in Bland, Va. on May 15, 1946, and was the son of the late Andy Wilson and Evelyn Wright Wilson.

Surviving are his wife, India Wilson, Pulaski; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Marc Bishop, Pulaski, Julie and James Roope, Pulaski; grandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Jeremy Bishop, Cheyenne Roope, Emily Roope; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Herbert Pack, Dublin.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Dublin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Donnie Weaver and Edward Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

Visiting will be Sunday from the Dublin Presbyterian Church where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
