Wilson, Bonnie Rose

Bonnie Rose Wilson, age 68, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on January 22, 2022, at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born and raised in Floyd, Virginia to the late William Theodore and Shirley Conner Wilson.

Bonnie was a sweet and special soul who overcame many physical challenges throughout her life. She is loved dearly by all who knew her. She is survived by four sisters, Mary Nester and Beulah Correll, (Clyde) of Floyd, VA; Marie Bolt, (Jesse), of Mt. Airy, NC; Ruby Harter, (Bill) of Basset, Virginia; a brother, Percy Wilson, (Phyllis), of Pilot Point Texas and a sister-in-law Scottie Wilson of Lewisville, NC and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Wilson.

A funeral service will be held on January 26, 2022, at 2 PM at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Marvin Wade Officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
