Wilson, Beulah Lee

Beulah Lee Wilson, 81, of Staffordsville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Giles Community Hospital. She was born on August 4, 1933 at Pearisburg, Va. the daughter of the late Richard Clyde and Sarah Ellen Tabor Evans.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Alex F. Wilson III; a brother, Harol (“Sunny”) Evans; and a sister, Louise Evans Lucas. She helped raise several children from the community.

She is survived by her husband, Alex F. Wilson, Jr; two daughters, Patricia Colmer and Nancy Wilson, both of Staffordsville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Flois Evans, of Pearisburg, Eugene and Evelyn Evans, Wolf Creek and George and Dorothy Evans, of Dublin; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Reynolds, of Staffordsville, Janie Stafford, of Staffordsville, Shelby and Gary Kerr, Eggleston and Barbara and Fred Palmer, of Staffordsville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at New Village Pentecostal Holiness Church, Staffordsville, with the Rev. Kathy Higgs and the Rev. Lynn Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery, Staffordsville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at New Village Pentecostal Holiness Church, Staffordsville,
