Willis, Heidi Roberts Altizer

Heidi Roberts Altizer Willis, 68, of Glen Allen, formerly of Marion and Christiansburg died Friday, March 16, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, William R. Willis; four sons, Charles E. Altizer, II, Laurence F. Altizer (Eileen), Stephen E. Altizer (Heather) James H. Altizer (Sheeraja); step-children, John Willis (Charlotte), Prissy Kibler (Mike), Clint Willis (Ashley) and Robert Willis (Amanda); three grandchildren, Grayson, Bailey and Xavier; step-grandchildren, Madison and many others; and numerous other loving extended family members.

Heidi was born in Germany and raised in Christiansburg by Laurence and Ruby Roberts. She was a dedicated educator who reveled in her student’s success. Heidi’s true passion was her family.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24 in Sunset Cemetery, 501 S. Franklin St. Christiansburg, Va. 24073.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Heidi’s name.
