Williams, Wanda Robertson

Wanda Pauline Williams, 77, of Virginia Heights, Pearisburg, departed this life Monday evening, December 31, 2012 at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem. Born in Trigg on February 4, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Julie Ann Gusler Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin D. (Judge) Williams, her brothers Byrd, George, and Charley Robertson, her sisters Mary Jones, Virgie Kanode, and Zelma Long, her nephew Paul Cumbee, her brothers-in-law Deanie Jones, Watson Kanode, and Clyde Long, and her sister-in-law Margaret Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Roger Robertson and his companion Delia Hamblin of Rye Hollow, Giles Co.; her daughter and son-in-law Betty and Allen Stevers of Pearisburg; her grandchildren Christopher Edwin Stevers, and Joseph Allen Stevers and his fiancé Adriana Tickle.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday evening at 8:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 pm before the services.
