Shirley Ann Thompson Williams, born July 11, 1938, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 10, 2022. She was reunited with her beloved husband, Arnold Lee Williams after many long years for her.

Shirley’s most treasured gifts here on earth was her family. She had two daughters, Sharon and her husband Tony Graham of Shawsville, VA, and Sandy and her husband, Marvin Wade of Floyd, VA. She had many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Tony Graham Jr. and Children, Jack Silas and Landis; Chris Graham and children, Brooklyn and Gavin; John Graham and wife, Anne; Melissa and Earl Fields, and children Matthew, Maddison, and Mayson; Michael Wade and wife Mandy and children, Meiah, Mayleigh, Macie, and unborn baby Wade; Sarah Wade and son Aiden. Shirley also had brothers and sisters she loved dearly as well. She will be missed by each of them and loved always.

Shirley was very active at the Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Christiansburg, VA and was the founder of her senior group there. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and enjoyed her time planning, attending and making those who came to their meetings feel loved and special. In lieu of flowers, she would want donations made to this senior group so they can continue God’s work in her memory: Senior Saints, Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 155 Dunlap Drive Christiansburg, VA 24073.

Shirley loved to cook for her family and have them visit, especially on holidays. She especially loved her tomatoes and corn on the cob. She will be remembered by family and friends for her red velvet cake and out of this world dumplings.
