Williams, Sandra Spry

Sandra Spry Williams, 55, of Austinville Road, Austinville, Va., the Porter’s Crossroads Community, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010. She was born on October 8, 1954, in South Carolina. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pulaski. She is survived by her husband, Meredith H. Williams, of the home; one son, Jeffery Johnson, of Tennessee; one daughter, Katherine and Will Viars, of Dublin, Va.; one step son, Curtis Allen Williams, of Marion, N.C.; one step daughter, Cynthia and Ken Tabor, of Galax, Va.; mother, Katherine Spry, of Pulaski, Va.; father and stepmother, Harvey and Gail Spry, of Raleigh, N.C.; two grandchildren, Brian Scott Weatherington and Alicia Dawn Viar; one brother, James Spry, of Gibsonville, N.C. Ten stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Pulaski with the Rev. Randy Alston officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
