Williams, Russell Warren

Russell (Rusty) Warren Williams, age 59, of Pulaski, died early Monday morning, December 2, 2013 at his Mt. Olivet residence. He was born on November 20, 1954, and was the son of the late Marlene Lovern Williams and James Howard Williams.

Rusty worked, for many years in the construction field as a welder, and could be found fishing or with his grandsons. He recently became a devoted and selfless caregiver to his mother during the last months of her life.

He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 37 years, Rose Thomas Williams of Pulaski; a son, Shane Williams and his wife Suzanne of Pulaski; a daughter; Cherish (Nikki) Williams of Pulaski; two brothers; Michael Williams and his wife Paula of Pulaski; Danny Williams and his wife Janet of Dublin. He is also survived by two grandchildren who were the lights of his life; Brandon Williams and Gabe Stillwell, along with brothers-in-law and their wife’s, Ricky and Debbie Thomas, Frankie and Kathy Ridpath, and Mike and Bonnie McNutt, numerous nieces and nephews, and his precious pet dogs, Scooter and Bingo.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, before the service, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
