Williams, Richard Douglas

Richard Douglas Williams, 62, Shawsville, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 11, 2008. He was retired from General Electric in Salem, and was a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Roxie Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 40 years; Lita K. Williams; father, Albert Williams ,of Shawsville; and brother, Nelson Williams, of Pilot. The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2008, from 2 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2008, in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
