Pete Williams, 84 of Floyd, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg, VA. He was predeceased by his parents, Ida Fisher & Payton H. Williams; son, Stephen.

Pete is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Yearout Williams; his sister Deane Harris; his children, Mike, Mark & Debbie, Scott & Lisa; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Steve, Brian, Jennifer, Rob.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Floyd United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends from Noon to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private. Maberry Funeral Home is servicing the family.
