Williams, Marshall Lee

Marshall Lee Williams, 74 of Newport, Virginia departed this life February 13, 2023 at his home. Born January 19, 1949 in Montgomery County, Virginia he was a son of the late Everett and Sylvia Weiss Williams.

Marshall served his country first with pride in the United States Army. Later he would work at Virginia Tech in the Boiler House. He also enjoyed Nascar, coin collecting and piddling with old cars.

In addition to his parents, Marshall is preceded in death by a daughter, Shanna Williams, sister, Phyllis Fleeman, and brother-in-law, Billy Caldwell.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Krista Howell (Tommy) of Newport; son, Chad Williams (Malory) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Kinsey Howell, Hayley Howell, and Quinn Williams; and sister, Jackie Caldwell of Christiansburg, Virginia.
