Williams, Margaret Reynolds

Margaret Jean Reynolds Williams, 89, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Craig County, Va., August 5, 1920, to the late James Oscar and Elizabeth Caldwell Reynolds.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Williams, a great-granddaughter, Savanna Jean Martin, a brother Warren, Reynolds, and a sister, Virginia (Peg) Simmons.

She was a member of Blacksburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee E. Jr. and Anna Martin, of Newport, Va., Danny W. and Linda Martin, of Salem, Va.; three grandsons, Jason Martin, Todd Martin and Chad Martin; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen and Charlie Elgin, of Ironto, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don McKinney and Dr. Tommy McDearis officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Friends may call anytime Wednesday afternoon, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
