Williams, Jo Ann
Jo Ann Williams, age 70 of Pulaski, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Lewis Gale Hospital – Pulaski. She was born on June 16, 1944 in Montgomery County, and was the daughter of the late Minnie Gay Myers Early and Carl Houston Early. Jo Ann was a retired employee of Jefferson Mills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Bryson and Genett Thompson and her husband, Franklin Pierce Williams. She is survived by two sons; Alvin Williams and his wife Becky and George Williams and his wife Gina; six brothers, Rev. Carl Early and his wife Barbara of Christiansburg, Leroy Early and his wife Minnie of Pulaski, Rev. John Early of Blacksburg, Lowell (Tom) Early and his wife Brenda of Christiansburg Stewart (Chuck) Early of Christiansburg, and Terry Early of Troutville; four sisters; Marie Little and her husband John of Huntsville, Alabama, Christine Coggsdale of Suffolk, Frances Rush of Springs, TX, and Linda Early of Blacksburg. Also survived by four grandchildren; George Williams, Jr., Mathew Williams, Cassandra Williams, and Christopher Williams; one great-grandchild, Antonio Williams: Special friends; Jia and Dallas Sweet of Radford, Wayne and Barbara Adams of Pulaski, Steve McPeak of Pulaski, and Kathy Hight of Dublin.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Early and the Rev. John Early officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends on Monday from Noon until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
